2024 presents an ideal opportunity for those considering camping to explore the world of RVs. Just as the housing market experiences a buyer’s market, the RV industry is currently offering a buyer-friendly landscape.

Numerous dealerships are urgently seeking to clear out year-end models, some even featuring brand-new 2022 models at prices below their original costs. This translates to an advantageous situation for potential buyers, allowing them to acquire a brand-new RV at a significantly reduced price.

As we enter the 2024 season, many RV dealers find themselves with excess inventory of 2023 and 2022 models. The imperative for them is to make space for the incoming 2024 models, prompting competitive pricing for the existing inventory.

The unique circumstances leading to this phenomenon can be traced back to the COVID-era. In 2021, there was a surge in demand for RVs, prompting manufacturers to ramp up production. By 2022, an unexpected trend emerged as some COVID-era buyers decided to part ways with their RVs prematurely. This, combined with economic challenges, has resulted in a surplus of two-year-old models sitting on dealership lots.

Prospective buyers are fortunate to find exceptional deals, especially those who plan to keep their RV for a long time. Despite not intending to show bias, my family’s business, Corral Sales RV, is currently offering models from what I consider to be some of the best brands. You can reach out to me directly if you have questions, or I can connect you to one of the experts at Corral Sales RV if you need assistance.

If you’re contemplating upgrading your camper, 2024 may be the right year.

Welcome to the Buyer’s Market for RVs!
